February Prelude
3rd February 2016
Theatre
We're starting the February month with Animal Farm, Lee Nelson’s adaptation of George Orwell’s thought provoking dystopian novella about a band of barnyard animals who revolt against their farmer and create a new society in which ‘all animals are equal’, but as it turns out some more than others…
Tree Folk Theatre are bringing this to life on our Main House stage with a rustic and skilled performance of storytelling, puppetry and mask-work. Tickets on sale now!
Poetry
Farrago Poetry brings a battle for the National title to our Studio stage on the 6th of February. John Paul O’neill will be hosting the UK Poetry Slam with an impressive line up of poets from across Britain for an evening of charismatic performance and dialogue.
Video Art
Taking our Gallery on the 3rd of February is Rafal Zajko’s MONO, an artist moving image initiative, showcasing the works of up to 14 artists with the principal aim of demonstrating the breadth of contemporary video practices. This is a FREE entry event and will be held in our Studio.
Music
The Courtyard will also be playing host to Mahogany’s talented 19 year old European tour sell-out and singer songwriter Leo Stannard along with the fantastic Tor Miller, brought especially by Communion, for a single night of raw and ardent music in our intimate Studio.
