Questioning whether love is ever real, they start understanding
that nothing is what it seems. It isn’t long before Isabel digs up the
past in order to save their future, and what she discovers leads both
Matt and Isabel to question their deepest desires and make the ultimate
choice to decide whether their love will last forever…

The Power of Love will see the intimate Main Stage at The Courtyard Theatre transformed into a cutting edge playground of chic minimalist fashion and multimedia projections to create the mesmeric dream sequences and bring Kensington Gardens and the romantic coast to The Courtyard Theatre. With an exciting design team, the production will exhibit the latest in European costume design, providing a dynamic cutting edge aesthetic. Featuring an innovative mix of avant-garde fashion design, film and multimedia.
The Courtyard Theatre is an artistic resource providing a platform for theatre, music, visual art and independent film. The Courtyard Theatre is a popular theatre based in Hoxton, putting on great performances, some of which have been successfully transferred to the West End.
The Power of Love is a contemporary love story, offering a fresh perspective on a universal and time-old question – can love last forever?
The Power of Love, directed by Ilmar Taska and designed by Pina Russo, is written by Tony J. Williams, with music composed by Tim Gill. Costume Design by Mark McMahon and Pitour.
Starring Anna Winslet as Isabel, Christoph Dostal as Matt and Lucia Katz Edwards as Dr Agnew.
An exciting creative partnership was forged between producers Lucia Katz Edwards and Ilmar Taska with Tim Gill, of The Courtyard Theatre, one of the most important venues in london celebrating and championing new theatre.
