Off The Page is proud to present 'Heidegger's Shadow', a 'World Premier' by the Emmy Award winning American writer David Cherrill and Caroll Jacobs, based on the complicated life and work of Martin Heidegger, one of the most important and controversial philosophers of the 20th Century who achieved massive acclaim for his intellect through his major work 'Being and Time' ( J P Sartre was a big fan), as well as notoriety for not only joining the Nazi party, but also appearing to be an enthusiastic supporter of its cause - and all despite an ongoing affair with his young Jewish student Hannah Arendt. “He who thinks great thoughts, often makes great errors” (Martin Heidegger)
