A play inspired by the work of the great artist, Salvador Dali. This is a dark and provocative piece by a playwright who captures the human psyche like no other. In the vastness of the unforgiving desert Gabriela struggles to separate her dreams from reality as she copes with the crippling loneliness and desperation of being an army wife. From the imagination of Jose Rivera, and brought to life by Troupel Theatre Company, comes a world where coyotes talk, cacti walk and the Moon plays the violin. This performance will have you agreeing with Dali that, “…what we have christened reality is an even greater illusion than the world of dreams.”

Troupel are a London based theatre company. The three founders are united by a long-standing friendship that has allowed a unique understanding and collaboration in practising theatre. Having spent four years studying theatre across two continents, with multiple shows to their names, these three practitioners are deeply invested in their craft. Theatre is an art form; a medium of expression. Troupel create theatre to provoke the audience. Any space can become a stage, any story can be told and anyone can be inspired.
