Transfer Deadline Day is an ensemble black comedy journeying into the underbelly of the nations favourite sport football. Set in the final hour of secrecy & dodgy deals from 11pm to midnight – a stupid chairman, conniving female director, angry manager, put-upon coach, has-been player, the star signing, his hippy wag, and a slimeball agent - manoeuvre like pawns in a chess game for control of the fictional club ‘The Pies’ to save and hi-jack careers.
